As we approach this weekend, one in which the focus tends to be on all the mother’s out there, I want to encourage all the ladies with a few words.
What you do truly matters. Whether you are a mom or not. Your value is not found in the number of kids you have or don’t have, but your worth is found in Jesus. The one who knows your beginning and end. He knows your innermost being and the moment you were created. Your life has a purpose and a plan in place designed by him. He sees your strengths, your weaknesses, your smiles, and your tears. He promises to be with you always. He has proven to be faithful so many times in my own life and trust me, I have given him plenty of reasons not to.
The older I get, the more I have learned to appreciate the women in my life. God created us to be extraordinary. The mental weight that we carry, if some could physically see it, would seem impossible to do so, but yet as women, we carry on. No matter how hard it gets, we move forward. We have grit. We love. We hurt. We mend. We protect.
No matter what season you may find yourself in, keep moving forward. Don’t give up. Keep loving. Keep praying. Keep hoping. Keep trying. Know you are not alone in your struggles. You are amazing. You are strong. You are capable. God loves you. He is for you. If you are in a season where he seems quiet, he is just working behind the scenes of your story. Hang in there.
I pray this weekend, you feel the love and peace of God all around you. I pray he encourages you in your daily walk with him. If you don’t know him as your personal Savior, you can. Talk to him in prayer. Believe in him. You don’t have to have everything figured out to go to him. He wants you just as you are. Unpolished & Imperfect.
Most of us will have interactions with other people every day. Our actions and words have power on those within our circles of influence. Think of them as pebbles being thrown into a body of water, and how each pebble hits the water causing a ripple effect. We may never know how our life has impacted others, but rest assured that it is in one way or the other. May we become more intentional in the way we live our daily lives so that we can leave traces of kindness and encouragement everywhere we go. It’s important for me to remind you that on those days where the struggle is real and things don’t go the way you had planned, please give yourself grace. God doesn’t expect us to get it right all the time. He knows we will fall, but he is always there reaching out his hand to help pick us up, dust us off, and get us back on our feet.
Keep moving forward,
Hayley W
